Educational Background
I earned my BA in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating summa cum laude (with highest distinction). I completed both my masters and doctorate in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
Clinical Experience
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy as well as psychological testing and assessment. I have worked with a diverse clientele in a variety of settings including community mental health, hospital-based primary care, drug & alcohol recovery, high school and college counseling, and private practice. I completed an internship at the California College of the Arts Counseling Services in San Francisco, CA as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, CA. I have also conducted and published original research on pain and pain management.
